In order to enter a race event drivers must be at least 14 years old. All drivers will receive safety instructions before they are allowed onto the circuit and be given time on the track to acclimatise to the karts and conditions. Trophies are awarded to the top three drivers or teams, as well as champagne for the driver who completes the fastest lap. Grand Prix EventsGrand Prix Events are suitable for groups of 6 - 30 drivers. Each driver competes in practice, qualifying heats with variable grid positions, before competing in one of the finals. As a last chance the winner will progress to the next final.
For an extra £5 per person, grand prixs can be run using lead weights to "handicap" the lighter drivers, giving even the heaviest drivers an equal chance of victory.Endurance RacingThese events require 4 - 7 teams, with between 2 - 6 drivers per team. Drivers must allocate the driving amongst themselves, with the winning team completing the greatest number of laps. Trophies are awarded to the top three teams, as well as champagne for the driver who completes the fastest lap.
All endurance races are preceded by a 20 minute practice session except for the 40 minute race (this has a ten minute practice session). Children's PartiesSuitable for groups of 4 - 16 children of at least eight years of age. The party is divided into teams. Each driver will have practice laps to familiarise themselves with the kart. The race will then take place and medals will be awarded to all participants.
Please note that gloves, racesuits, balaclavas and helmets are provided. Booking Confirmation In order to confirm bookings other than an Arrive & Drive session, a £10 per head deposit is required which may be paid by cheque or card payment over the phone. It is advisable that the organiser collects this deposit from each driver. Please note that deposits are normally due at least two weeks before the booking. |
