Junior Karting Championship 2013

The Junior Karting Championship is the ultimate hobby is for junior karters aged 8-16 years!!  This is the best way to test and develop your skills as an up and coming karter!! 

The championship will consists of 14 rounds (2 per event) with your best 10 scores counting towards the championship table, the highest points scorer over the series will be crowned Herefordshire Raceway Junior Champion!!

Each event consists of a 7 minute practice/qualifying followed by 2 sets of finals, each 10 minutes.  Qualifying will determine the grid for final 1.  Fastest laptime from final 1 will determine the grid for final 2.  Championship points will be awarded for both finals.

There will be 3 classes, overall class, novice class & a beginner class.  All drivers will score points towards the overall table, drivers who have scored 1 or less podiums will be in the novice class, new drivers will score towards the beginner class.  There will be championship awards for top three overall, top 3 novices at the final round & top beginner.

It would be advisable that the participants have used the track several times to familiarise themselves with the layout of the circuit and performance of the karts. Please note, a minimum weight will be set at the 1^st round.

• Sunday 23^rd June
• Sunday 21^st July
• Sunday 18^th August
• Sunday 15^th September
• Sunday 20^th October
