  What equipment is provided at the track?

Waterproofs, overalls, driving gloves and helmets are available for all drivers using our corporate karts.  Neck supports and additional seat padding are also available for junior drivers.

  Is there a minimum age or height requirement?

In order to drive the restricted twin-engine pro karts drivers must be at least eight years of age and 1.3 metres in height.  Anyone fourteen years or older and 1.5 metres tall can drive the twin-engine pro-karts.    

  How long does a grand prix usually last?

Please note that these times are only intended to provide an estimate of event duration.  It is hoped that all participants will arrive in good time so that the GP may be started promptly.

  What size are the karts' engines?

The karts at Herefordshire Raceway utilise Honda 160cc 5.5hp engines, meaning that the twin-engine pro-karts can reach a top speed of around 55mph.

  What happens if it rains?

There is no problem with running an event in wet conditions, and in fact it can make things even more exciting.  It is only in extreme weather conditions that racing might have to be cancelled. 

  Where is the track located?    

Herefordshire Raceway is situated 1 mile north of Weobley, just off the A4112 Leominster to Brecon road.  Turn off the A4112 on seeing the "Kart Track" signpost and follow the road for three-quarters of a mile leading to the circuit.
